Snow globe

This musical snow globe has been Alex's favorite since he was about six months old.  He loves playing with it, but is a little afraid to shake it sometimes.  I think it's because the thing is pretty heavy.  

He's mesmerized by the snow and the music, but gets really upset/sad when the snow stops falling.  

A game of peekaboo always cheers him up.   

One Little Monkey Jumping on the Bed

There are times when toys are not enough to keep a kid entertained.  Something that always works with Alex is running around the house chasing each other and jumping on the bed.  If he could, he would run around for hours.  Actually, I'm pretty sure he can.  I on the other hand, need a break after the first half hour.

The Holiday Classics Are Here

Starbucks Holiday drinks are the best!  I had the Caramel Brulée Latte and Alex ordered his usual chocolate chip cookie, but he changed it up a bit by ordering hot chocolate.  He said it was cold outside.
